75% F4U Corsair (First of the 70 Series)
There are two models of the F4U-1A planned. The first F4U is specifically
designed for static display only with Museums and War memorials specifically in
mind. The static display designs are 90% based on the efforts
several remote control designers have come up with and we merely scaled them up
to 75%. We will diplay a link to their website as soon as it is
available. Their complete 1/5th scale kit will be available soon.
The second design is a monocoque design specifically designed to be a Homebuilt
kit.
The 70 Series concept came about while working with
W.A.R. Aircraft Replicas.
The most common complaint is that larger pilots will not fit in a W.A.R.
aircraft design without making some fairly serious design changes. Also,
the number of engine choices is a bit limited to automotive and a few select
aircraft engines like the Contental O-200. However, builders today are
looking for more realistic and true-to scale options without giving up the
necessary power. For instance, the extremely popular
Rotec Radial from Australia
is becoming a first choice for new builders, but again the engine will not fit
without serious design changes.
Enter the 70 Series. By default, the larger scales will allow for the
larger pilot and a larger diameter engine. In fact, each aircraft is
scaled/designed around the current Rotec R-3600 radial engine and scaled up just
slightly to allow for any future increased engine sizes that Rotec may release
in the future.
To date, none of the aircraft are finished and we tenitavly have a total of 9 possible
orders. 7 static display versions and deposits for 2 of the flyable version
have been taken.
NOTE: ALL pictures on this site show only the Static display version.
?% Scale Bearcat
The Bearcat is still on the drawing boards, however the landing gear and tail
gear designs are finished.

?% Scale P47
The P47 is still being considered.
Other aircraft being considered are: Zero, Dauntless, Hellcat, FW190
just to name a few.
